What to bring

Lists of items to bring to specific hospital units.

Nursing and Care Unit

  • Pensioner/disability card
  • ID document
  • Copy of medical records (test results, consultations, hospital discharge cards)
  • Slippers (closed)
  • Shower flip-flops
  • Pajamas or nightgown — 2 sets
  • Underwear
  • Bathrobe
  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush and paste, comb, shaving accessories)
  • Towels (large and small)
  • Washcloths — at least two
  • Regularly taken medications
  • Diapers for the first week of stay
  • Medical supply card (for diapers)
  • 1 pack of Sudocrem and 1 pack of PC V 30
  • For ambulatory patients — tracksuit for rehab exercises

Rehabilitation Unit (neurological, cardiac)

  • ID document
  • Pensioner/disability card or other proof of insurance
  • Medical records
  • Pajamas or nightgown — 2 sets
  • Underwear
  • Bathrobe
  • Toiletries
  • Comfortable cotton clothing for exercise (shorts, T-shirt, tracksuit)
  • Towels
  • Change of shoes for exercise (sneakers)
  • Patients on chronic medication — supply for the entire stay
  • Shower flip-flops

Bedridden patients using diapers — additionally:

  • Diapers for the first week of stay
  • 1 pack of Sudocrem and 1 pack of PC V 30
  • Washcloths — at least two

Optional items

  • Tissues
  • Additional personal hygiene products (creams, body lotion)
  • Books, magazines
  • Mobile phone
  • Radio, TV
  • Computer (rooms have internet access)
  • Walker or wheelchair used at home
