Information clause — video surveillance

- Purpose and legal basis: the surveillance is used to ensure the safety of patients and staff and to protect property (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest of the controller, and Art. 23a of the Polish Medical Activity Act).
- Scope of monitoring: the system covers exclusively the entrances to the building and the communication routes (corridors, staircases). It does not cover doctors' offices, patient rooms, bathrooms or changing rooms.
- Retention period: recordings are kept for 21 days and are then automatically overwritten. In the event of an incident, a recording may be preserved until the matter is resolved.
- Recipients of the data: data may be shared only with authorized authorities (e.g. Police, courts, prosecutor's office) upon their written request.
- Rights of data subjects: every recorded person has the right to access their recording (insofar as it does not infringe the rights of others), to request the restriction of processing, and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
