Free cardiac rehabilitation under the National Health Fund
Since October 2017, Cuprum-Med has provided day-mode cardiac rehabilitation services reimbursed by NFZ.
We provide services in the Day Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit. Services are fully funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ) — patients incur no costs.
Who is eligible?
Rehabilitation is available to patients after:
- heart attack,
- cardiac surgery (CABG, valve replacement),
- coronary angioplasty (PCI),
- with chronic heart failure in a stable condition.
What does the program include?
- Daily training under the supervision of a physiotherapist and cardiologist
- Health education and nutritional consultations
- Psychological support
- Monitoring of vital parameters (ECG, BP, oxygen saturation) during training
